Join the locals
We get away from the well-known historic old town and go on an adventure beyond the city centre. Vienna has much more to offer than St. Stephen’s cathedral and Hofburg palace! We take a look at the charming old university campus and talk about Viennese scientists who changed the world, we walk down the most beautiful stairs of Vienna and stroll through “Little Paris”. Having experienced these rather traditional neighborhoods we make our way into Prater park, the green lung of the city. Next to hundreds of chestnut trees we marvel at futuristic architecture of Zaha Hadid and finally join the locals in the old-school amusement park. End of the tour is at the gates to Vienna’s largest beer garden. In between we take the loveliest tram ride Vienna has to offer for which you will need a ticket.
Some of the questions that will be answered: Where do you find a space ship in Vienna? What does the 4th most beautiful staircase of Europe look like? Where did Beethoven die and why did he move so often? Who was put into the “fool’s tower”? Where can you see the most expensive piece of furniture in history?
